After being 3 months in the city , we finally feel at home so far away though.
We spent a really great time walking through streets, watching people, eating tasty things :), talking about Kolkata's history, taking a loooot of photos! :) Two russians are saying spasibo for that walk and the guide! :)

Deep It was great as promised.
It was our first corporate camping , and most of our employees were new to this whole concept of trekking and adventure. It was memorable the least to say , and a super experience. Bonfires parties at such a height , snow to cross and play with and such unexplored trek route with so much to learn from. Your services , guiding and knowledge adds up to the topping on cake. It was memorable and we are surely in for another adventure soon with you. Thank you for everything and hope you had fun with us too.

Somehow , when you see Deep's profile and get the replies to your inquiry , you have a instinct inside that you are in safe hands. The first time planning for India can be tricky, as you hear a lot of warnings for a country such as India. But Deep makes sure, you fall in love with his country and keep coming back. I admit He's a little bit expensive comapred to other Private guides , but you will know the reason why once he gives you a tour.

Thank you Deep !! Met up with in calcutta. We were searching for a tour guide and came across his profile in viator.com , somehow talking to him seemed he's genuine and sincere totally true to his love of wandering. We were a bunch of 12 people , all new to India and its culture , it was really helpful to have Deep guide us. We hired him for calcutta , later , he escorted us to Bodh Gaya and Varanasi. More than just a guide , he's like a friend. Had an wonderful time and would really love to come back with him especially to Himalayas , hearing his experiences and adventures are really alluring and addictive. You look at him first and the casual way he treats you , you are like , this guy has no proffesional sense, and then as you talk to him, wander around with him, you know why he calls himself personal guide rather than just a travel agent. You can visit the places he takes you even alone, but those places would not have the same experiences without his , out of the blue , deep thoughts and speeches. He is really Deep.

I met Deep on kashmir great lakes trek , back when he was just starting out. It was fun and great to know him with so much travel curiosity and eagerness to see the world and especially the mountains. On a research project to rural Bengal , i came over to India, and in calcutta, hired Deep, to take me to the forests, in search of sacred grooves. It was a wild goose chase with entering the tribal communities and areas filled with extremist and some danger for sure , but he did manage it all well. Me and my family were looking for someone who could provide both a little luxury as well as adventure. Going for a family camping you don't want it to be all rough and rigid. We are happy we chose Deep to guide us in sandakphu trek. What an amazing sunrise we saw , thats a thing to cherish forever. He forced us to come out in early morning in bitter chill , we were cursing him at that time , but now it seems that was the best part of the entire journey. I was part of Roopkund trek conducted by Deep in June 2015. It was a awesome experience. Especially when you have small group you can enjoy more. Deep teaches you from his experience about mountaineering. Roopkund trek was nicely planned right from the get go. We had received emails regarding physical preparations, during Nepal earthquake, he assured us well before the trek started that route is fine. We were handed over snacks packets from the first day which was very useful during the trek, between camps. I cannot thank him enough for the journey we completed. I will try to do my every Himalayan trek with him as much as possible. I wish him all the best for his next adventures.

Its funny how we met and went on an adventure. I was waiting for a lift in Bengaluru , India. Deep and his friend was passing by a car , he gave me a ride to the station. On the way, came to know what he does, and a month later, was crossing over the Rupin Pass with him in Himachal. It was a great time with adventures and some horrors like snow storm and heavy rain , but in the end , it was really a thing of lifetime!! Appreciable thing was even in those storms and horror , he was calm and his local support team is excellent, bravo to those brave hearts. Comming back again next year for a Himalayan adventure. Thanks Deep!!

I met Deep for the first time on Dalhousie trek and it was like , " Is he the Camp lead ? " Doesn't seem to be the one. Toh kya hua first meeting tha na.. !!! :P
Then Roopkund came and it was a must-to-do trek. Without knowing anything about Roopkund just go ahead , as we have deep to guide us. But then earthquake terrified me and made me to think whether to continue or backout. As I said when we have deep then nothing to fear. All enquiry was done by him and everything was under control. It was in the Roopkund trekking expedition Oct 2015 where we met Deep as our trek leader. The trekking experience was awesome and the scenic beauty of Roopkund is a retreat for the eyes. It was the passion and experience of Deep which created enthusiasm in our group and we were thrilled to make it to the summit. Though there were few difficult times as in all treks, we were motivated to push our limits to overcome the difficulty. Once we made it to the summit, there was a sense of satisfaction and all the pain was turned to joy. We hope this is just the beginning of our trekking life and would like to return next year for a new adventure. Thank you Deep for all your support and guidance, wish to meet you soon next year.

Thanks Deep , Its always nice to go on a adventure with you , I don't remember the one where we met , probably on my safari in Kanha , back when you were working there. Now I am probably the most frequent traveler with you. Doing the treks and forest safaris are now a part of my life as you are. We will keep on doing more adventures !! Not much yeas left before I quit my job and be permanent vagabond like you. This is a warning to all who are comming for an adventure with Deep , this guy can fill you with craziness about adventure beyond limits where life , job or ordinary things will seem vague !! It was in the national Himalayan trekking expedition of winter dalhousie trek , that we met Mr.Biswas as our camp leader for Khajjiar. We were a group of retired senior trekkers. The first time we saw such a young man leading , we were a little surprised , but as you get to know him you understand , age does not matter , experience does. His maturity to handle even senior and young people alike with ease and smoothness was something to regard off. Plus the insight he brings on mountains , trekking and techniques , helped all of us to become better. We are definatly going to come with Deep for a personal adventure soon. Thanks a ton !!

It was nothing less than an adventure when I went for the first time with Deep , I decided to join him in one of his backpacking trip in sikkim. I joined him on the last moment without no plan or expecting anything. But the memories we made are more than enough now to make me tag along with him atleast twice a year. He took me to explore a new trek route , the best part is even he was not sure of the trail but yet never let me feel that and lead with confidence. I guess thats the best part of being with him, even if in the most dreadful situation , you feel alive and having the time of your life with him.

Thank you Deep !!! Your guidance in Ladakh really made my first ever trip to India an awesome. The camping at pangong in a full moon night would be the icing on the cake of my journey. I know him since college , but barely could you see them then as He was traveling and wandering mostly even then. Later after grads I decided to join up with him in one of his adventure of biking in western ghats forest and what memories we have of that , can easily be turned into a novel. The best part is the adventures are different with new things to learn and know which makes it fascinating and doable. Obviously I will be comming for an adventure soon. Thank you!!
