Kedarnath , a holy hamlet in 3385 meters, is encompassed around an ancient Shiva temple , very revered and famous for it's legends and myths. Pilgrims from around the globe who believe in Shiva , make it a point to visit here. However most of them only visit for a night and see the temple and shrine. 
In the veil of mountains and breath taking beauty , Kedarnath holds many a secrets and off beat places to explore and wander. Over a period of 3 nights that we will stay here, we will visit all of them, and explore the rarely seen sights in the grand Himalayas.  Besides what an adventure it is to relax by the Mandakini river among grand mountains and wise sages, don't you think ?
If you are interested in seeing a pilgrimage beyond its religious aspect and more holistic and spiritual purpose to mind, we invite you to join us in the budget exploring. Here is the detailed date and plan for the trip. 

Oct 18 -  Report at Rishikesh. Light exploration in the yoga capital and stay overnight here in our hostel. 
Oct 19 - Move to Sonprayag, the town nearest to kedarnath and prepare yourself for the next day grand hike to the shrine. Overnight here in Sonprayag. 
Oct 20 - Sonprayag to Gaurikund by transport. The hike to Kedarnath of 15 kms to be done today. It takes around 6-7 hours. Easy trail for anyone who has the will. Even for beginners with no experience. Reach Kedarnath in evening and overnight stay. 
Oct 21 - Temple darshan and whole day excursion for the Kedarnath hamlet and "near by" legendary places. All by walking around. Relax by Mnadakini river with grand views of the mountains. Evening Arti in kedarnath temple to be attended. 
Oct 22 - Today we hike to Vasuki Tal, a legendary lake beyond kedarnath. It is 10 kilometres in total of up and down, with unfolding of many grand vistas. Evening Aarti to be attended, optional. Being last night in kedarnath , we will surely not miss the star gazing. 
Oct 23 - Kedarnath to Gaurikund trek down. Move to Sonprayag.. Tour ends here officially. If people are fast walkers, we might reach Gaurikund by afternoon and start for Rishikesh immediately. Reach Rishikesh to spend the night. 
Oct 24 - Depart from Rishikesh to your destinations. If we are in Sonprayag on Oct 23, in case, we will still reach Rishikesh by 2 p.m afternoon, and people can plan to leave after that. 

Price - 6999 INR PER PERSON. 

INCLUDES - 

•  Accomodation in Rishikesh on first night, sonprayag on second and three nights in kedarnath. 
• Breakfast with every accomodation mentioned. 
• Transportation from place to place in bus or shared taxi ( preferably ) in comfortable manner. Though no luxury. Rishikesh to Kedarnath and back.
• Stay options are all backpacking style and shared. No luxury in pilgrimages. For preferred rooms and luxury , extra charges to be paid there as per personal intent. 
• Tour guide charges for throughout the treks and exploration. 
• Taxes Included. 

Excludes - 

• Any personal expenses. 
• Accommodation on days not mentioned in the inclusive. 
• Lunch and dinner , we will eat and share the bills among all of us. Approximately another 2000 INR at maximum for food. 
• All food will be vegetarian, due to pilgrimage and spiritual purpose. 

Requirements for the trip.
Due to the pandemic, travel and its rules have changed a little. We must all adhere to it. 
Uttarakhand tourism needs Covid Negative report from authorised ICMR labs for entry. We assist you in testing, and one needs to enter with in 72 hours ( 3 days ) in Rishikesh after that. 
Once you are ready for the trip and confirm, we will assist you over phone to get checked and to help you arrange how to reach Rishikesh easily. 
For confirmation we are taking a token of 1000 INR, in bank transfer. This is to just understand your intent and attitude. 
The 1000 INR is refundable completely, if you do not make for the trip.
