Desert Safari Rajasthan : Jaisalmer Experience.

Rajasthan is famous for a lot of things, but perhaps , what comes to mind when we utter the word "  Rajasthan " is Desert and Forts. This Two night Three days experience will satisfy your thirst for adventure, in desert and the feel of living in the books of history.  Our experience takes place in the western most town of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan which is famous for its four square kilometre long fort, and its strategic importance of being the only town in the heart of the Great Indian Desert or locally known as THAR desert. 
Jaisalmer is well connected with Trains , Buses and Flights from almost every big city, and one can easily travel to here. 
Once you reach Jaisalmer, there are plenty of options to tour, but the proposal of experience I am suggesting covers the cream and best of desert experience.

The Trip Plan 

Day 1 -  Reach Jaisalmer. Check in to our awesome Homestay of the local, who will be your friend and guide to suggest what to do in Jaisalmer. Freahen up , then start your discovery of the ancient city of the desert. 
Visit the Jaisalmer fort today. It is the second largest LIVING FORT in the world, which means, people still liver here. Grab your self a rooftop cafe to enjoy the sunset inside You can also explore the different parts of the fort and is specially very amusing for history buffs. The fort is open all through out day and night. 
You can take an auto do all this, but my recommendation is walk this whole exploring, to get best pictures and feel. 
Take breaks for Makhaniya lassi , mirchi vada and ghewar ka rabri from shops, as they are the signature foods of Jaisalmer. 
Tired with exploration, come back to hostel and chill for the night. Overnight in Jaisalmer. 

Day 2 - Early morning visit the Gadisar lake. Take Rajasthani breakfast , then explore the streets of old town of Jaisalmer outside the fort. The alleys and lanes built of golden colored sandstone can be only found here in Jaisalmer. Marvel in the intricate stone architecture and windows endemic to this city. Great place to shoot some amazing street shots and visit the renowned Havelis ( Patwal ki haveli, Moti singh ki Haveli ) for best experience. Come back to hostel in afternoon , after lunch. We start your drive for the desert safari to Sam sand dunes at 2.30 p.m.
One hour drive through the desert and you reach the camel point, where the camel riders wait to welcome you. 
Next one hour atop a camel you cross four kilometres of the great sand ocean, to go in the middle of the sand dunes, away from the hustle and bustle of civilization. The camel ride is enthralling experience as the sun starts to lower in the horizon. 
In the middle of the desert we will camp here for the night. The camel riders and guide start to set up the arrangements, while you explore the sand dunes. Roll in the sand or just sit quietly, everything is an experience. 
Watch the sun set in far horizon, which is one of the best you will see in your life, guaranteed!
For night , we sit around fire and share stories and feel the adventure of living like the nomads and Bedouins in the desert. After dinner, lie down on the bed , under thousands of stars. Fall asleep or just count the shooting stars. A night to remember surely. 

Day 3 - Wake up for sunrise. Freshen up in natures call amidst the vast desert. That's an experience too. After breakfast , we ride the camel back to the car drop point for an hour, and the car drops you back in hostel of Jaisalmer. Trip ends here around 12 p.m afternoon. Leave with memories and smile.
