KEDARKANTHA WINTER TREK - A summit trek in Uttarakhand.

Kedarkantha is a mountain peak located in the region of Uttarakhand at the elevation of 12,500 feet. Summiting it is a Three days climb from our base camp in Sankri. It is a beautiful trek that runs through the Govind PashuVihar range, which is known for its natural views, and it also gives you an opportunity, especially for the trekkers who are
beginners, or experts to get a feel for trekking and summiting.
Kedarkantha trekking is a classic round the year trek which is filled with snow from December to April , making it more beautiful And extra interesting.
The summit offers grand views of some of the best peaks of Himalayas and even each campsite has a pretty environment to camp and enjoy through out.
Here is the brief plan for trekking.

Dates : Oct / Nov / Dec / Jan / Feb / March.
choose your own dates for a group of 5 people minimum or more.

Day 1 - From Dehradun to Sankri , report at base camp. Overnight here in Homestay.

Day 2- Sankri to Juda ka talab. Trek for 4 hours, 5 kms. Overnight here in campsite.

Day 3 - Juda ka talab to Kedarkantha Summit camp. Trek for 5 hours, 5 Kms. Overnight here in tents.

Day 4 - Early morning ( 4 a.m) start from Summit camp, to Kedarkantha summit for morning sunrise. Descend back to Hargaon camp from the summit. Ascend of 3 km and descend of 5 km, total 8-9 hours of trek today. Camp in Hargaon, tonight.

Day 5 - Hargaon to descend down to Sankri. Trek down for 4 hours. Overnight in Sankri.

Day 6 - Transfer to Dehradun by 3 p.m. Trek ends with smiles and memories.

Price - 8500 Inr per person from Dehradun to Dehradun

• Treks are liable to be affected by nature often , any changes happening such due to out of control conditions will add personal expenses on travelers.

To confirm your seat we take a token advance and rest payment before trekking.
Transfer from Dehradun to sankri and back, can be arranged on extra charges. Otherwise we can suggest you how to reach Sankri by public or private transportation.
