ZANSKAR VALLEY BACKPACKING TRIP

One of the most elusive and less visited Himalayan valley in the world , Zanskar is a dream for explorers who want to hit the road and venture to the risk of unknown. Nestled in between Ladakh and Kashmir valley , Zanskar is home to nomadic settlements who live a hard life through winter and summer. In this trip we visit ancient monasteries that have survived the test of time, live with locals and get to walk some of the paths that have been never ventured before.

This is an exclusive event from us , which means , no other tour organiser or tour guide conducts this tour plan. If you are someone who is not ready for too much Adventure, this is definately not for you !!!
But if you share the same crazy vibes of hopping on to explore one of the most beautiful valleys , Himalayas has kept secret , this is the itenerary we are going to follow.

Day 1 - Reach Manali. Acclamatisation day with light exploring near by. Overnight in Manali.

Day 2 - Manali to Kurgiakh via Keylong , Darcha and Shinkula pass. 8-9 hours of drive. The zanskar Valley starts from Shinkula pass. Overnight in Kurgiakh monastery.

Day 3 - Kurgiakh to Purne ( 3 hours) to hiking to Phugtal monastery. Overnight in Purne.

Day 4 - Purne to Padum and stop over on Karsh monastery. Overnight in Padum.

Day 5 - Explore Padum local sightseeing , the centre of zanskar Valley. Overnight in Padum.

Day 6 - Padum to Manali drop. 9-10 hours journey. Overnight in Manali.

Day 7 - Return bus from Manali to Delhi in evening.

Price - 18,000 inr per person. Manali to manali.
