Goa is filled with beaches that boasts popularity and hence with time most of the populer beaches have been filled with tourists which sometimes might not suit your aim of heading there. Thankfully , there are still beaches not so populer among huge crowd goers and staying there would be a bliss to feel the real ocean and serenity at times. Arambol suits such. Situated in the northern most part of Goa , Arambol is a fishermen village that is now one of the last havens for hippies and backpackers seeking the Goa of seventies.
Arambol being far, compared to other beaches from the centre of Goa, has proved to be a bliss to keep Arambol still a backpacking haven. I would suggest most for a true beach life experience to head here and for this 5 reasons surely.

1. The hippy life experience.
Arambol is home to a lot of nomads and hippies like us, who has made travel a lifestyle. They spend their days in peace and joy , doing odd jobs to live a fulfilled life. You can interact with them and may be get inspired to start a nomadic life too.

2. The sunset and music.
Arambol comes at its best during the sunset. The beach is bubbling with great activities such as sunset jams. A lot of nomadic musicians play their instruments on the beach and they are a treat to hear while experiencing the sunset. The quality of music adds up to the enviorment and you can just sit on the sand , see the sunset and listen to the great innovative music.
3. The budget Food and Stays
Arambol is one of the cheapest beaches to stay and put up. Being a backpackers place , it offers budget friendly rooms and beds very near to the beach. Also the shacks on the beach serve delicious foods specially seafood. Do not miss out on the prawns , calamari and fishes so amazing to our taste buds. The beer is so cheap in Goa , you end up having it more than water.

4. The secret beach and sweet water lake.
The USP of Arambol has to be this. Just adjacent to the main beach seperated by the hillock lies a quieter and more virgin beach which also has a sweet water pool in it. So if you want to just hear the ocean and experience such tranquility , you just walk to this place. This beach is only accessible by foot so that filters out a lot of unwantes crowds surely.

5. The night life.
Like most of Goa, Arambol too has a vibrant night life. A beach flea market or a party going on live music on the beach, you name it , Arambol has it. On nights like those you surely feel alive and for many nights to come you shall always be at Arambol, once addicted like me.

Do let me know , your experience in Arambol. I surely might relocate here soon enough, so much in love with it.

    Note from the Author,

" Travel made me rich and free. Magic and miracles are true , once you wander on the roads to places different and divine. I have collected so many thoughts and stories while being a Tour & Trek guide for last seven years. Sharing with you all, those memories and stories , and wishing you all , that someday you guys travel far and wide too. I am not a great writer , so ignore my grammar and spellings, read it with feelings, and you might just be affected with the wanderlust to hit the road"
