Hello and thank you for making out this time to read about my thoughts on this very important issue. I have lost friends and family both to mental health problems and myself also have gone through them. No human is immune to mental health fluctuations, and hence we should talk about this more. And here is my lessons I learnt while traveling and coping with my mental health, that I feel I must share with you all.

If you Feel this Life is futile and a End is Better. Start making a list of things you might wanna do before you die. And decide you wanna do atleast 3 of them before commiting to your end. It can be a long delayed uncomfortable conversation, or a place you have always wanted to visit.
I am a Euthanasia supporter, so I don't judge you if you wish to end your life , but i would want you to do things before you end your journey in this dimension.

Never Let Your Emotions Take A Decisions. Emotions are decieving since they are based on our hormones and hence temporary. On such temporary logic , it is not a good parameter to make a decision. Either angry , sad or happy don't take a decision without being neutral at point of view from emotional perspective. Helped me a lot.

Forget anything, is right or wrong, good or bad. There's only perspectives. If you take everything as perspectives , then it is easier to observe things from a neutral point and understand what vibes with you more and what not. We should stick to what vibes with us. That is for our Good. But even then know that it's not universal Good.

Take a Nap. Can't stress enough the importance of sleep and nap, when your mind is chaotic. So whenever you have chance in between your problematic life. Just take a nap. I don't know how things happen but a lot of emotions change after we wake up. Maybe try this next time and let me know ?

Before reacting to a conversation, or situation, always be silent for 15-20 seconds before speaking. It helps your brain to calm down and not be influenced by your emotions. Also very useful on managing Anger. Just breathe for 15 seconds before speaking or doing.

Physical activity is the best, to clean the mind. Whenever mind is turbulant or anxious, go for a walk. Or jog. Or swim. Or maybe better , like me , go Trek. I absolutely can say this HELPS A LOT.

Take away the roles of people you have a grudge against, and see situations change. I have realised, our anger, grief is connected to expectations from relations we have from people. If you take away the relationship, the expectations vanishes and also the chaotic emotions. For e.g , I had quiet a few grudge against my parents. But when I took away the role of MOTHER and FATHER, all was left were two humans beings. And it was easier to accept their mistakes, since they are humans too. And that helped me to even leave out my illogical expectations and grudges that came along.

Lastly, and most important thing i learnt is mental health problem is as normal but crucial like physical health problem. So going to a psychologist is as normal as going to a health check up. So go ahead for a counseling session and don't feel shy. It doesn't make you weak or abnormal. Also they do know the Best about your Mental Health and can really really help.

I hope this helps a bit. Also you can connect to me if you need help with finding a counselor, or Anynomous groups where you can speak out about things Anynomously without being judged for your identity. Do connect please.

Also do add on comments any valuable tips and lessons about mental health you found yourself.

    Note from the Author,

" Travel made me rich and free. Magic and miracles are true , once you wander on the roads to places different and divine. I have collected so many thoughts and stories while being a Tour & Trek guide for last seven years. Sharing with you all, those memories and stories , and wishing you all , that someday you guys travel far and wide too. I am not a great writer , so ignore my grammar and spellings, read it with feelings, and you might just be affected with the wanderlust to hit the road"
