Thank YoU , 2o15 : A letter of gratitude.

Dear 2015 ,
​Not even in wildest dream could have I predicted what you had in store for me. Thank you, is the least I can say or do to be humble and show you how much , the best of times and memories meant for me. 2015 Thank you for being so awesome. From being indulged with the beautiful local kids of the Himalayas , taking a week out to teach them English , to learning the most valuable lessons of life in that journey , all have been your gift.

Not putting on hold the vacation plan with your best friend and that turning out to be such a super memory for lifetime. The white sand beaches and the blue lagoons witnessed how remarkable and best of days went through 2015. Late night deep conversations under those starry skies and heard by the gust of cool breeze coming over the sea , made us better than best of friends, thanks for such a gift of friendship , o 2015 !!

A Bong is always a Foodie ,and to delight him with such dishes from the various parts of the country on travel has been nothing , less than a huge incentive. The sweet and crispy of Gujju food , the oh so sour of south and some intricate splatters from the continental dishes of northeast fed not just the mouth but the soul. Such deliciousness is worth a thanks to you oh 2015!!

Where people dream and some die a lifetime to reach , I found home there. From edgy slopes , rocky beds , green soft meadows to bone chilling ice fields , I lived days and experienced more than I could have expected and asked for. For all such homes where you gave me refuge I thank thee 2015 !!

From the woods where spirits fly high , where I ventured with love and courage , tagged along with some strangers turned into best of friends. Crossing streams , getting soaked in rainfall , yet walking merrily listening to the chirps of birds and trees. So many wonderful friends made along the roads, treasure troves of knowledge and wisdom. All welcoming me with care , love and happiness. Surrounded by such amazing people there, made the fondest of memories and I am grateful to you 2015. 

 ,Making more friends across borders , helping them in showing my beautiful land and through there eyes knowing and learning more about myself , this earth and all that lies within. From camping by the beautiful lake of pangong to being chased by tribes in the deepest of ayodha hills , all were such adventures that this friends embarked upon with me. They showed faith in me and I in turn did all that is possible to show the most of my land. For such cultural bonding , thank you 2015.

In terms of work , I achieved more than big milestones for myself. Managing thousands of people on field and getting so much love and respect , is more than I could have prayed. From leading first ever corporate groups to helping beginners achieve a 5000 metres summit , everything went smooth. I turned into my own boss , making a name of my own and a website , what a waited transition , thank you 2015.

Wildest of adventure when swimming in the depths of a volcano crater turned into lake with amazing people to driving a truck on the mountains , life was nothing short of an adventure movie itself. Doing that long back thought solo trip to Ladakh to climbing new peaks and trekking more new trails on himalayas ,everything was a page-turning thriller, every moment , every day of the year. Thank you for making me the hero of my own story oh 2015 !!

Now that I look back , I was stupid to have feared you when you were arriving , thinking if things could have gone better than 2014.  You were more amazing than I could have scripted you. The best chapter of life yet now. THANK YOU would be small and hence to repay the gratitude , I promise to live boldly , swim with the flow , be daring more and having faith in time and be grateful for wonderful life that has been a gift.  
2015 ,THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING , 2016 I'm Ready !!
